Hello Friends,
: Re: Connection Assurance Timeout w/telnet server.

Two questions came up concerning this new Telnet Fix/Feature... and I
thought I would answer them here for all to see...

First question was if this would impact the operation of the DTC/TAC
card ? No, this new functionality is specific to the TCP Host Based
Telnet soltuion. I am really not certain of the DTC/TAC functionality,
my experience with the DTC preceeds the DTC/TAC solution (hmmm... this
is not to say that I am really old...). Anyway the DTC/TAC solution
handles all of the TCP traffic short of the 3000 system and what the
3000 sees is TIO/AFCP traffic and knows nothing about the TCP traffic
which is incomming to the 3000.

Hope this helps.
