we have an application that requires printing barcodes onto a Thermal printer
(like ones from Intermec, Zebra, etc) from a FORTRAN application (MANMAN).
We are still deciding which printer to use, so recommendations (pro or con) are
welcome. The location where the printer will be located is remote with NO dtcs.
Therefore the printer will be connected to a "jet direct" card (HP or INTEL).
Anyone have experience with this? We use a considerable number of LaserJets,
but this will be our first Thermal printer. Anything we should watch out for?
Are there any big gottchas?
Anyone have examples of the FORTRAN code required?
