Two topics.
First topic:
I'm suggesting a way that we could recognize that someone who is aware of
the newsgroups rules has posted. I'm not suggesting that we need a way to
identify when email has arrived from the list. Let's eliminate Spam
completely by having a manual procedure that the spammers wouldn't build
into the posts they make.
So we tell everyone (perhaps in a post) that we will require <MPE> in the
subject. Then the list server would be modified to reject anything that
fails to have the <MPE> in the subject.
Second topic:
I place .invalid in my return email as a test of a concept someone told me
about. So, does it cause extra work?

Per Ford Motor Company's Corporate Systems Manual section 2.4.25: "the
opinions expressed in the article are the opinions of the author, not of
Ford Motor Company. "
Change the ".invalid" to ".com" to return email.
