At a previous job, I would hook up an NT server to various PBX's to do IVR, recognize DTMF, Intelligent call routing via ODBC lookups etc...

We were heading out to do a fairly advanced installation when my boss said to me.

"Isn't it like a toaster?  Don't you just push a button?"
