Interesting but:

1.  A tempest in a teapot?
2.  It might be a plus for society that anti social behavior can be more
    easily exposed.
3.  The government, research organizations need information to better
    serve.  I think the objection to certain census information was
    absurd.
4.  OK, sometimes the data is misused.  Let's home in on those
activities
    and put a stop to them.  Scams are cams and information gathered
    throughj new technology is only part of that problem.
5.  Bottom line - if you don't want something unpleasant recorded about
    you don't do something unpleasant.
