<< The word "Symposium" comes from the Greek, and means "Drinking Party".
Those familiar with Plato's "Symposium" should recognize the reference.
Perhaps INTEREX does not want anyone to know what they are doing in the
"Solutions Symposium".....>>.

Actually, we want everyone to know what we're up to. That's why we've posted
notes to this list several times as the program develops.

Thanks to all of you who responded to us about your technical training needs.
We finished our first draft of the program on Friday. Based on your
feedback we have expanded the sessions and the labs. We now have sessions
covering step-by-step implementations of Apache, Bind, Java as well as a
hands-on, 2 day bootcamp for Posix, Systems management, performance
management, networking fundamentals, network printing, patching, backup
basics etc... There are also many new programming related sessions
including IMAGE, Cobol, Visual Basic,Fortran, XML, porting applications to
the e3000 and moving applications to the web.

We will have a complete schedule posted on the Interex web site by the end of
next week at
http://www.interex.org/conference/hpe3000solutions2001/index.html. We are
currently taking registrations online.

There will be a special reception on Wednesday evening, Feb 7th (so we are
somewhat on track with our Greek meaning :) ). We hope you all can join
us.

(and keep the emails coming.)

Best Regards,
