Let's define the word "new".  My impression is that the HP3000 was
invented around 1973-74 (I first worked on it in 77).
And that UNIX came from the 60's.  Which makes sense as you see some
of the commands and then realize they came from Berkly in the 60's.
What were they smoking!!

Anyway, I know what you mean about the NT stuff, but it does seem odd
to me that most people (mangement types especially) think that UNIX
is somehow new.  Really we should be promoting HP3000 as the "new and
improved" version!!  I think that based on the mail, most of us agree
that it is the "improved" version.  Let's also tell the world it is
the newest technology out there and the BEST.

Also management seems to have that false impression that the HP3000 can't
be used in a client server fashion.
