Hello all,
RE: FTP from 3K to linux
I just ran a test with FTP/iX current patches and a PUT and GET of
catalog.pub.sys works fine to my Red Hat Linix machine running the
wu FTP Server:
220 morgana.atl.hp.com FTP server (Version wu-2.6.2-5) ready.
Red Hat Linux release 7.3 (Valhalla)
Kernel 2.4.18-3 on an i686
My FTP client versions are the latest:
7.5: File Transfer Protocol [A0012003] (C) Hewlett-Packard Co. 2000
7.0: File Transfer Protocol [A0011H07] (C) Hewlett-Packard Co. 2002
6.5: File Transfer Protocol [A0010M10] (C) Hewlett-Packard Co. 2002
6.0: File Transfer Protocol [A0009R13] (C) Hewlett-Packard Co. 2000
I ran this test on all 4 O.S. releases.
Further debugging is required to determine why the PUT is failing.
The typical first step is to perform the "debug" command before the
PUT to see what 4xx or 4xx message the server is returning as well
as exactly what the 3k is sending.
