Craig,
No argument there - you would be completely self sufficient AS LONG AS YOU HAD ALL THE NECESSARY backups.
And a BULDACCT job set to rebuild all the structures......

But cloning can be done , with the right equipment.....on any disk

I should say, even though there is a disc cloning utility, if I could get a full backup and a CSLT, I would rather reload.

It would be a lot quicker, easier, and the end result would be much more pleasant (supportable).

The only reason I would choose the disc cloning is if it was required to recover data.
