I guess this rule doesn't apply to Live Oak trees here in South Texas
either...I think they started throwing acorns at my truck as soon as they
are tall enough to see that I have parked in the driveway.

Someone forgot to tell the oak trees in my yard that produce acorns and are
less than 25 years old.  I don't remember when they first started but the
squirrels could.
