I have taken the training offered by Millware to consultants interested in
knowing about ScreenJet. Although I have only very limited experience with
the software, I must say that everything I have seen and tried leads me to
believe that this is "The Greatest Thing Since Sliced Bread"TM;] if you
have a VPlus application that needs some "refreshing" without the risk of
impacting your current green-screen users. It appears to be the first
non-disruptive solution to the problem of evolving your applications rather
than revolving them. An existing screen can have most of the usual GUI
components (drop boxes, check boxes, etc) added to it for the PC GUI user
without changing the hp3k host software program that can still be run by
real terminals and terminal emulators.
I would hardily suggest that you take a good hard look at the ScreenJet
product.
