Little addition for DSL, advance technology base upon old haul modem (stretching RS232 terminals from DTC)..

Using above voice bandwidth frequency from your home/office to central office in telephone company with thin gauge copper wire(existing phone line).

Now, the phone company rushing to connect their customer into this DSL, otherwise other vendors can claims this lines...

DSL is Digital Subscriber Line and comes in all sort of flavors, but yes, it
allows for high speed connections over existing copper connections.
