Quite the contrary,

Frankly, it doesn't matter where Wirt's vast source of knowledge comes from.
(Be it from within or from a machine stored source). As far as I'm concerned,
he displays the two most redeeming characteristics of a well educated man:
1. Sharing knowledge of a FACTUAL nature, and
2. Presenting it in such a manner that the masses can actually understand
    it! (Well usually, anyway! :))

If I had more professors like Wirt when I attended college years ago, I would
probably hold those people in much higher regard than I currently do. My
experience was that the majority of them violated both rules 1 and 2 with
reckless abandon!!

P.S. The opinions expressed above are mine alone since no one else
      would want them!!
