I might be wrong, but I think Oracle doesn't provide precompiler for RPG on
MPE. As far as I know there is one for C, one for Cobol and one for Fortran!
I guess that you could write subroutines in C or Cobol and use them from
your RPG programs.
The fact that the database resides on an other computer than the program is
not really an issue, as long as you have SQL*net running on the database
host (HP9000 in your case) and SQL*Net's client on the same computer than
your program (HP3000 in your case).
