I have the following code to read J4 field from a dataset and translate  that 
field.
 
 
440 INTEGER  Ship_cost(2)           'this  corresponds to SHIP-COST item that 
is J4 field
510 Pack1: PACKFMT  Em_key$,Ship_cost(*)     
 
1920     Ship_cost1=Ship_cost(1);Ship_cost2=Ship_cost(2)
 
2030    CALL Myamount(Ship_cost1,Ship_cost2,Shipcst)   'Shipcst is the actual 
value of our  
SHIP-COST item 
 
2910 SUB Myamount(Dol1,Dol2,Final)
2920    DECIMAL  Myvalue,Dollars
2930     Myvalue=42949672.96
2940     Dollars=Dol2/100
2950    IF Dollars<0 THEN  Dol1=Dol1+1
2960    Final=Dollars+Dol1*Myvalue
2970  SUBEND
 
The Challenge is how do you replace the Shipcst and write it back to the  
database?
