Paula,

what about HPDATE, HPMONTH, HPYEAR ?

Whe have some jobstreams looking like this to generate yymm format to be
used for group/filenames:
!CALC 100+!HPMONTH
!SETVAR YYMM "!HPYEAR" + RHT("!HPRESULT",2)
!CALC 100+!HPDATE
!SETVAR DD RHT("!HPRESULT",2)
!
!CONTINUE
!BUILD DISK!YYMM.XEDTA01;REC=-80,,F,ASCII;DISC=35
!FILE DISK!YYMM=DISK!YYMM.XEDTA01,OLD;ACC=APPEND

The HPYEAR setting must be adjusted before 2000 because HPYEAR for 2000
will become 0.

I do not want to explain the things using MPEX or MAESTRO.

Hope that will help you, best regards, Andreas Schmidt, CSC, Germany

Hello everyone,
I am trying to use an HP variable in a job stream. I need the actual data
to print not the !Hpvariable.
I know that if I ECHO each line in the job stream out to a file it will
work, but is there any other way to accomplish this? I have tried COPY,
FCOPY and redirecting to another file. They don t woik!
Thanks in advance.
