Okay, mebbe I've banged my head once too many (but it feels so
*good*...) but I can't see any reason for the following:
We have a 957 that we want to move the "LP" device class from, and point
it to a DTC serial printer.
(The 256x printer has been finicky of late, and we don't wanna use it
anymore.)
We added the device class to the DTC printer via NMMGR, dynamically
updated, then raised the OUTFENCE on LDEV #6 to 14.
All the "LP"-destined spoofles still sit.
Hmmm. Okay, we DOWN LDEV #6, and stop it's spooler. (Nothing to see
here spool files -- move along, move along...)

Head-scratching, we shrug and meander into IOCONFIG, "mc LP dldev=6" (to
which it burbles that since LDEV #6 is spooled, IOCONFIG won't update it
-- but does so anyway). Exit IOCONFIG, so a SHOWDEV LP, and now LDEV
#106 (the DTC printer) is the sole survivor.
We smile, and nod knowingly at each other (since this will *certainly*
do the trick..)
