I ran into this a while back, and it turned out that if I transferred
the file binary, it bypassed that limit.
Hope this helps,
Paul

Subject: [HP3000-L] Reflection: transferring monster files
Well, I think I have finally tested the limits of my Reflection file
transfer protocol - I got the error:
"extent size exceeds maximum"
The file I am trying to transfer from my PC to my 917 is 412,000 kb (417
mb)
My version is 5.21 - Can I create a file equation on the HP to get
around this?
As an aside I have to say I have used Reflection for years and have
always been inpressed with the thought that has gone into this product -
very well designed...
Bill
