The SIGWeb Executive committee is currently in the process of
setting up our agenda for the upcoming HPWorld meeting and would
like your input. The meeting is currently scheduled for September 13th
between noon and 2pm. Our initial plans look something like this:
+ Quickly taking care of the required "SIG business"
+ HP update by OnOn Hong
+ Four or five ten minute talks by various guest speakers on topics
or products relevant to the SIG.
+ An open Q&A session.

What we'd like to know is what topics would you like to have covered in
those 'four or five ten minute talks'?

Some potential topics that have been discussed are:
 Web Servers: Apache/iX, WebWise
. Web Application Servers: PHP, AutoBahn II, Powerhouse Web,
                            Web Dimension, ASP, ColdFusion, etc
 Java Servers: JSP
. Scripting and Integration: PERL, CGI, XML
. Simple steps for getting a web server environment up and going.

We're interested in soliciting both your ideas *AND* your time,
so if you'd like to take up a particular subject and share it with
the rest of us, GREAT! If you just want to come and attend the
meeting to hear about what others are doing and hopefully pick up
a few good ideas, then that's great too (not quite as great as sharing
yourself though ;).

Please either send your suggestions back to me or to the SIGWeb mailing
list (mailto:[log in to unmask]) within the next few days. We need to have
the agenda finalized in the next couple of weeks so it can be sent
back to Interex for publication. I'll also post it back to the SIGWeb
mailing list.

I look forward to seeing everyone at HP World!

Regards,
Michael L Gueterman
