If you can still get it(?), Wingspan from Denkart is a curses-like gui
environment. Does all the fancy pop-up/scroll-lists/context-sensitive help
stuff on almost any terminal (hp or other) and can even "convert"/enhance
Vplus forms by adding context-sensitive help, picklists, and support for
other terminal types.
[I haven't seen it advertised in a while? I assume it's still available]
