Hi all HP3000 gurus out there!

How can I obtain the current time zone value programmatically? You know,
the value shown in the SHOWCLOCK command output.

I need this information for creating a properly formatted time stamp in
my SMTP mailer program. Doing a SHOWCLOCK and redirecting the output to
a disc file is one solution, but I prefer a bit more elegant method.
Is there an intrinsic function available?

My program is intended to be used on the MPE side, not Posix, so I have
no help from the TZ variable either.

TIA,

Heimo Kouvo
