COMPUTER SERVICES ASSISTANT
The Canadian Opera Company is seeking a highly motivated individual
for the position of Computer Services Assistant. The successful
candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day running of computer
systems at the COC, providing end-user support and running reports
against the patron database.
QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must have extensive computer experience
including the demonstrated ability to install, maintain and
troubleshoot Windows and DOS microcomputers, software and peripherals
on a Netware 3.11 network. Applicants should have working knowledge
of word processing software, preferably WordPerfect for DOS and
Windows, and spreadsheet software, preferably Lotus for DOS and
Quattro Pro for Windows. Experience with Netware 3.11 system
administration and HP3000 system operations is also required. Cognos
Quiz report writing is an asset. The applicant must have tact,
teaching ability, resourcefulness, initiative and patience. This is a
full-time position, with benefits.
