reference to The New York Times liberal columnist (but I repeat myself,)
Paul Krugman. Usually in that column, Mr. Luskin corrects the current
misstatements from Paul Krugman, but this week, he addresses DeLong

Wirt's right. Competent software professionals should thrive in any
environment - we've been around the block, seen how businesses succeed
and
fail. It's not just programming that we do. But people without
transferable
skills, people trapped by commitments and unable to relocate, people
desperately needing a job that carries a medical plan that will look
after a
chronically sick child, they need retraining and employers need
subsidies to
bring jobs to them.
In the short term at least.
Unfortunately there are campaign contributors to look after first.
