Instead of emailing an entire spoolfile... does anyone have some good ideas
on altering some application software to auto lookup say a customer's email
address and instead of printing an invoice, simply email it over to them?  I
discussed a proposal on this for a semi-reluctant client (aka skeptical
client) and the actual email part is not something that I have experience
with.

The proposed plan right now is to...
a) alter customer file to contain email addr info
b) alter COBOL code to lookup and use the email addr info
c) if email is desired, skip the regular print logic and create an all-text
(no form) invoice and write it out as a file
d) pickup these files and email it directly from the HP-3000
