Andreas,

I am curious what version of Maestro you are on? I have experienced not
problems using SETSYM.

The problems you mention with LCAL & ADTE, Tivoli is aware of the problems &
can give you a work around. At the moment, I do not recall exactly what I
what I needed to change, but it was Tivoli support that told me of the
problems.

I too have been on the receiving end of Tivoli support. Placing Tech Support
calls have become a nightmare. Finally, I have resorted to using their Web
page to log Tech Support calls. I fine this to be much more efficient & more
direct since you can write in detail the exact problem. The only thing I
fine interesting, is the fact that neither MPE-ix OS nor any of the
RoadRunner & DCM Pak (Maestro, Spoolmate, Tapes) products listed on their
Web Page. Once you make contact with a Tech Support, I generally find the
support to be good.
