This is the one I meant to send last time..........
1. Please note that the wishor is issuing a retrospective wish,
greeting, salutation for the year 2001 and not as expected in
these circumstances one for the forthcoming year of 2002. It
is assumed that the warranty on the wish now expires at the
end of 2001 and not, as may be reasonably assumed from the
delivery date 21 Dec 2001, at the end of year 2002.
2. If the above is correct then I would remind you that we are
not prepared to accept near time expired greetings with limited
warranty clauses. As such we must reject this greeting in the
form it is currently presented. The greetor (wishor) shall, if the
greeting is to be acceptable, reissue the greeting with the
corrections to the date such that the warranty is within the
specified terms and is effective for at least one calendar year
from acceptance, subject to the normal terms and conditions
of contract as issued by the wishee.
3. I trust that the above is acceptable and look forward to receiving
a current wish/greeting that meets the terms and conditions of
contract either specified or expected.
I remain yours faithfully
TTFN again
Ian
