For those interested I managed to find a way to upgrade the firmware on the
SWC box. The latest version is A2.0

1) Using IE, log onto the ftp site
[log in to unmask]" target="_blank">ftp:[log in to unmask]

2) Double click on the A2.0 folder

3) Highlight each file and right click. Select Copy to and copy the file to
a ftp server (in our case it is located on our server \\sysnet)

4) Copy all 4 files down to your internal FTP server and close IE when
complete

5) Log onto the SWC as administrator and select the Upgrade menu item

6) In the Upgrade Software window enter
Source IP address (your FTP server)
file path where the 4 files are stored on the FTP server
De-select the default login and enter in your FTP user login id and
password

7) Click on OK

8) The SWC will reboot.

NOTE***

Various attempts had to be made to access the HP FTP site. I was successful
more often than not using IE than using Netscape. Attempts to logon to the
web site from my HP3k were not successful. I probably could have tried wget
but that would have been my last resort.

One last thing, make sure the files are transferred in BINARY. Per HP's
instructions if you attempt to upgrade with the files in ASCII format it
will render the box useless...
