We also had problems with DTC flagging ports as bad on our 957's DTC72MX when
booting. Ports were not bad at all !

We got fed up with having to unplug fifty or so RJ-45's every time we
re-booted !

Solution: HP replaced all DTC cards with newer ones which can be set NOT
to perform test at boot-up. Problem fixed.
