Hi all,

Just to confirm that it was sales, not support, that Dave Wilde was
referring to when he said DTC's and Network cards would not be available
from HP after 10/2003. HP e3000 based products, including DTC's and Network
cards, will be supported through 2006. There's been no change in our
product sales/support commitments. Dave was just providing some examples of
related HP e3000 products that would not be sold after 10/2003 as well.

For customers not on support contract with HP, you run the risk of not being
able to have your systems adequately supported, but you have some options:

1) You can get HP support on a T+M basis if HP has excess parts.

2) You can purchase service parts on an exchange basis from HP Parts Direct
(again if HP has excess parts): http://www.partsdirect.hp.com

3) Remarketed/brokered parts.

If you wish to submit questions directly to us regarding post-2003 issues or
anything for that matter, you can also use the following website (select
Contact HP on the left nav bar). This will help ensure that your input is
appropriately considered in future planning and also incorporated into the
FAQ: http://www.hp.com/go/e3000

Thanks, Kriss Rant / CSY product marketing
