No idea, as we have no ProCurves, but even *if* they do your mileage may
vary depending on your definition of "layer 3". Most low-end "layer 3"
switches assume that you simply want connectivity between subnets, and
it is (relatively) trivial to simply switch at layer 2 without regard
to layer 3 addressing, at least not after the "flow" has been
determined; it simply rewrites address headers and proceeds at layer 2.
But you get little or no access control. If you're trying to support
an Internet, DMZ, and private intranet on the same switch you will have
to filter in some other way.

Cisco has some pricey ones, but be careful here too. Their low-end
layer 3 switches have limited filtering ability (2948G-L3 for example
can only support access lists on the uplink ports).
