I wondered about this, myself.  I looked at the last quarter of FY97 for
all three companies and found that Compaq/DEC would be $10.8B in revenues
while HP was $11.8B.  One problem with my research is that I am using each
companies FY.  HP's FY ends in Oct, Compaq in December and I'm not sure
about DEC.  In any case, using different FYs makes it difficult to get an
exact comparison.
