Hello Kish,

You have at least two possible solutions:

o Configure your LJ III Si to switch automatically between PostScript
and PCL personality, based on file content. To do this, step through
the front panel configuration menus to Job Menu, then advance the
Item button until the PERSONALTY option is displayed. You get three
choices: PS (which you are using now), PCL, and AUTO. Select AUTO
(press the Enter key) to have the printer switch automatically.

o If you can't (or don't want to) change your printer configuration as
above, put the following string at the beginning of your PCL-formatted
output. (Use the real escape character and line feed codes where you
    see ^[ and ^J, respectively):

        ^[%-12345X@PJL^J@PJL ENTER LANGUAGE=PCL^J

The ^[%-12345X@PJL^J alerts the printer to exit whichever personality
(PostScript or PCL) it is in and return to its meta-personality, PJL.
Once in PJL, the @PJL ENTER LANGUAGE=PCL^J switches it into its PCL
    personality.

At the end of your PCL file, if the data stream contains a PCL reset
command (^[E), the printer will switch back to its configured PostScript
personality. If not, you must include the reverse of the above:

        ^[%-12345X@PJL^J@PJL ENTER LANGUAGE=POSTSCRIPT^J

Note: The above is about the only PJL supported by the LJ III Si. It was
an early implementation, when the rest of full-blown PJL was not quite ready
for prime time. The LJ 4 series supports a much richer version of PJL.

I hope that helps.
