Try running spfxfer and typing "help" at the prompt.

Not with spfxfer.

You could try inputting from the tape to the system and see what gets
restored.

Can your fiche service handle an spfxfer tape?  It's often the case that
you'll have to FCOPY the spool files to tape for the fiche provider...
