Hi All,

We are working on an application where we are using specialised PC workstations
on the production floor using Linux.
There is a need to access Vplus applications on the local 3k system. What we are
testing is a copy of FREEVT3k and
what we are finding is:

In using FORMSPEC as an initial block mode test program and comparing a DTC
Terminal vs Linux/FREEVT3k

     The Linux / FREEVT3k test has the following escape code sequence

(display)      (some esc code) ... $Z$c<D1>           <CR><LF>$^ ...       where
$ = ESC
(keyboard) <CR> --------- we need to press
CR to proceed, otherwise all stops.

     The DTC Terminal test has the following escape code sequence

(display)      (some esc code) ... $Z$c$&s1h0G$^<D1> ...          where $ = ESC

The next test would be using Reflections over the network but we don't have any
software to capture the data.

Does anyone know of any special cases when using FREEVT3k.

Thanks in advance,
John
