You are wasting your time.

The "seagate" seagate drives don't have the HP firmware on them.  The
system will recognize them at the hardware level (ODE/MAPPER), but MPE
won't recognize them.

Seagate will only sell the "special" drives to HP.

I am sending you a related, private email on an alternative product
that *DOES* work, and will be on the market soon.
