Hello QUAD users,

We are running the following version of QUAD,

QUAD -- JHK, Quest Software, KWS, Summit Information Systems, January, 1993
        Compiled with SPLash! (c) Software Research Northwest, Inc.

It has an annoying 'feature',
which can be reproduced as follows.
Text in a large cobol program (approx 5000 lines)

Search for a string  / L @ i"xxx"

Repeating the search about 10 times or less,
 will eventually generate the following error,

  Read error on text file QUADTEXT
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
  Error in procedure QKGETREC
  Line numbers out of sequence on file
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

and then you are forced to terminate the Quad session,
possibly losing any changes that have been made.

I seem to recall that this has been discussed on the list before.

Does anyone have a workaround/patch/fix for this ?

Regards,

Tad.
