They haven't come up yet in my neck of the woods. I live in Rio Frio,
about 70 miles west of Kerrville, near Garner State Park. I haven't
seen any around here. I was in Laredo for the weekend and saw some blue
bonnets there. Laredo is a bit warmer than it is here in the Hill
Country. Most of their mesquite trees were blooming as well while some
mesquite trees have started blooming here. The mountain laurels and red
bud trees are in bloom now. I'll be in Austin next weekend and I'll
look for the blue bonnets between here and there and let you know.
Where are you and your wife planning to go to view them?

Excuse the bandwidth, but the wife wants a first-hand report of Blue
Bonnet bloom progression, so plans can be made for optimal viewing. 8-)

Thanks, Y'all!!

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely
in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside,
thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming:

-- WOW!!! What a Ride
