How about an enhancement request to make the logonprompt work like the
welcome message?

The 255 character string is inadequate for displaying informational or
security messages because you can't use escape sequences or carriage
returns to format a multi line message!

I have always maintained that this issue should be given a higher priority,
as it falls under the category of a major security problem.

EVERY SYSTEM SHOULD ISSUE A CORPORATE/PROPRIETARY SECURITY WARNING PRIOR TO
ANY SIGN ON ATTEMPT!

Given the explosion in use of home PCs with high speed modems and growth of
host systems connected to the internet, one can easily predict that system
security will be one of the main issues in picking new systems and in
maintaining existing ones.
