Hold that thought. $100.00. USD is a little sad though, is it not?
The freight would probably be several hundred dollars more just to
get it here.

However, I do have a 918 warm spare off-site in Mississauga. So if
this box is not returned to service this AM then I will simply
switch processing off-site. That will take about four hours to
reload the data backups including travel time.

Service is now on site and have a spare 918 with them so things
should be good shortly.

In the meantime, does anyone know what would cause an HP4000/4050
printer connected to an HP3000 to print two copies of everything
sent to it? I have found a reference that says that if the printer
i/f is configured as RAW instead of LPR or if LPR byte counting is
not enabled with LRP then this behaviour might result. Is this true?
