vi.hpbin.sys is the "official" editor.
qedit will work as well.
I use a samba-share and PFE32 on my PC - a freeware editor which recognizes
Unix-Format.
I recommend you use first vi to define a new share for /SAMBA/ and
MANAGER.SYS access, and then use a PC editor in the future ;-)

i must install samba and modify the configuration file
/usr/local/samba/lib/smb.conf
but what editor can i use cause edit3000 cannot read the file: "not MPE
file".
if i transfer the file by ftp binary and edit on PC, when i bring it back
is modified and can not be used
any sugestion usefull
