The modem ports are configured using NMMGR. Notice that ioconfig indicates this
with the NMMGR after the device number.
To add a new device class to the dial in lines, go to the profile associate with
the dial in device (144 in this example) and add MODEM, DAILIN or what ever else
you might wish to call it to the profile. All devices that use that profile will
now have that class, after validation.
