Hello Roy,

First of all my most sincere apologies, not only to you but to everyone
on this list who have been really good and nice to me by helping me out
whenever I have posed a question. I accept that it is my responsibility
to reply and acknowledge the help.
I missed out on that and I offer no excuses.
I have really learnt a lot from each of the answers I have received with
respect to each of my questions and your suggestion with the excel
question was extremely informative. Thanks a lot Roy.
Let me take this context to give my opinion regarding this group and
also about my views etc..
When I started working on HP-3000 technology which was some 3-4 months
ago I had a completely different perspective on it, one day when I was
searching on the net for some information I happened upon a presentation
by Jeff and that was where I saw info on our mailing group. I thought
lets give this a try and I subscribed.. btw this whole concept of such a
mailing group is completely new to me and this is the only list that I
have subscribed to.
Once I joined and started receiving and reading the mails that I receive
I realized that there is quite a vast number of people who are out there
willing to share ideas, thoughts and help each other on this technology.
In spite of the fact that the list is huge I see closeness in the group
which has really surprised and touched me.
Again I would like to thank every one in the group and special thanks to
Roy for if it were not for his mail I never might have typed what I
have.

Thanks again
Venkat

Hello Venkat

Last time you were here, you were asking for help with Excel, and I sent
you an example of a solution. Which I offered to other interested
parties too, and some people took me up on the offer, and all were kind
enough to acknowledge it.

But I never heard back from you, so I don't know if it was helpful at
all. Or even if you got it - perhaps you didn't get it, as I didn't send
it by normal routes?

Regards

Roy
