What do you mean by "another node", if you have another HP3000, you can

Dsline  #NAME to a seperate box
REMOTE HELLO logon

FILE X=X;DEV=DISC;DEV=#NAME

Or something like that

If you don't have a seperate HP3000, you can ftp the STDLIST to the "other" server.
