I believe the answer to your question is "neither".  When I fire up QUIZ
I'm greeted with the following banner:

Q U I Z   (7.29.C8)      Level 999
Copyright 1997 COGNOS INCORPORATED

I'm guessing that you are running the base release of 7.29 without any
patches.
