I don't yet have a CDROM installed on my HP 3000 -- the CDROM drive is sitting
in a cardboard box waiting for the CE to install it.  The purchase was
authorized based on HP supplied information regarding future software releases
on DDS and CDROM only and CDROM being less expensive than DDS media.
 
I'd certainly like to use it for other things, too, like the US Post Office
ZIPCode database (ZIP, ZIP+4, Carrier Route lookups) or manuals online, etc.
