When we converted our 256x and LM615 printers over, we paid around $300 for

the serial interface cards.  Got them from InfoWorld here in NE Ohio, but I

know they are part of a nationwide HP reseller company, the name of which 
escapes me now.  However, I'm sure you'll be deluged with resellers 
offering you great deals! :-O

The only thing else I can add is to be sure you get the manual for
configuring 
the card, or you have access to someone who does or knows how to config the

card.  They are rather arcane to config.
