The ideas proposed in this article were included in an article in "Communications of the ACM" in about 1978.  The article was entitled "Structured Programming Considered Harmful."  In addition to the COMEFROM and the computed COMEFROM, it also proposed the DONT...UNLESS...INWHICHCASE construct.  There were other, equally brilliant ideas in the article.  I was able to locate it on the web at http://www.modell.com/SPharmful.html.
