You may have fully qualified names in the data dictionary (or QSCHEMAC) and
they are pointing to the production account. You can try to override this
by setting up file equations like:

FILE MYDB.DATA.PROD = MYDB.DATA.TESTNEW

For each of the databases used in the application. You probably need to
check for all files used in the application.

Subject: [HP3000-L] PowerHouse ?

It's been 10 years plus since I've done any Cognos work and I thought I
reach out and see if anyone can point me in the right direction.

I'm trying to create a test account which is a copy of a live working
environment. I've copied over all the files (data and progs) and all looks
fine, but when I run run quick or quiz to access the data base, I get a
"data access error".

I'm sure I'm overlooking something simple (I hope)...

I've change the creator on the files to the same user with new account and
can access the data via query with no probs.

I'm thinking something in the dictionary or qkgo setup?

TIA!
Jack Connor
