I believe this is one of the major things that makes the 3000 world
survive and grow - the sense of community. The Image DMBS as part of FOS
supports it. The Interex international, national, and local user group
meetings used to, and still do, promote it. CSYs [oh no, should that be
CSY's or CSYs] customer focus in recent years encourages it.  This list
promotes it very well.

I suspect that one of the challenges many of us feel in moving into
client/server, distributed/networked, multi-vendor computing is going
outside this computing and technical support community. We are grounded
in MPE and the Image DBMS, even while we argue over languages and
clients.

Well enough deep thoughts, if 30-30 is a Winchester, why is -30- the
end?
