Michelle,

It's true that the manual needs to be copied to a PCL printer.  The memory
overflow means that there's not enough memory in the printer to handle the
contents, which contains screenshots and other graphics.

All in all, the manual should not be needed - it's pretty clear cut and
clean - but if you really need it, the printer, such as a Laserjet, should
have at least 4MB of memory in it (1MB just won't cut it).
